Madison Rios, BA
She/Her
INDIVIDUAL THERAPIST
I am dedicated to fostering a nurturing and empowering therapeutic space that honors your unique experiences and identities. Advocacy is central to my practice, as I aim to support growth and assist in navigating life's challenges. I offer a safe and supportive environment for all identities, backgrounds, and affiliations. Together, we will work collaboratively to build on your strengths and develop strategies that align with your personal values. Utilizing evidence-based treatments, I strive to promote healing, self-discovery, and lasting change.
I have experience working with children and their families in outpatient therapy, which has been incredibly rewarding. Through these experiences, I have found a strong passion for working with clients of all ages. While I am still exploring my counseling style, I employ evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), while maintaining a person-centered, warm, and relational approach. As a graduate student intern, I am currently pursuing my master’s in counseling psychology from the University of St. Thomas and am completing my internship under the supervision of Catherine Tamayo, MS LPCC.
If you are seeking to build on your strengths, navigate life’s transitions, or enhance your well-being, I am here to support you. Together, we can create meaningful changes and foster a more fulfilling and balanced life. I look forward to meeting you and walking alongside you on your journey.
